Which Fabric is Most Suitable for My Project?

We provide one on one custom design development for your particular project. We will help you from concept to final product. We can help you select the type of fabric that will best suit your project.

Do you have a physical store location?

Modern Fox Fabrics is an online-only fabric store, but our office and custom fabric printing services are based in Oklahoma City. If you have any questions, please drop us a note through our Contact Us page or message us. We will get back with you promptly.

Can I get fabric printed with my own designs?

Absolutely! Please see our Custom Fabric page for more information.

Will your fabric always be in stock?

We strive to keep the inventory stocked on all our fabrics. But we cannot guarantee that the base fabric will always be available. If the fabric is out of stock, it will not show on the fabric selection drop down menu.

What is your turnaround time?

We make every effort to get your order out in a timely fashion. Our current production estimate is about 3-4 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the United States and Canada.

How much does it cost to ship?

Because there are so many variables to consider when calculating the cost of shipping, we recommend by adding the items to your cart and proceeding to the Order Confirmation page where you can review your order before submitting for payment.

You will not be charged unless you submit your order.

All domestic orders to the continental United States ship via FedEx or USPS and will require a minimum of 5-7 days of transit time, depending on the destination of your shipment. Additional charges apply when shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, which will be reflected at checkout.

Are your fabrics from mills in the USA?

While we do give preference to American textile mills, not all of our fabrics are from U.S. mills. Our base fabric selection is based on overall quality and availability.

What is the process for printing on fabric?

Our printing process varies by base fabric type. Our natural-fiber fabrics are printed using a Direct To Garment eco-friendly water-based pigment process. The process for polyester fabric is best known as “Dye Sublimation,” which is a process where we first print on a special paper and then transfer the printed design onto the fabric.

Is the fabric printing permanent?

Yes, the dyes used for printing the fabric are designed not to bleed, run or smudge. They will wear with the fabric over time as any cotton or polyester fabric would.

How do I ensure my fabric colors will print the way I see them on my screen?

Each monitor is calibrated differently and the color you see will only be a close facsimile of the printed product you will receive. Different types of fabric will give different results. For ex: natural fiber fabrics like Kona Cotton or can give a matte finish whereas Poly-blend fabrics like DBP, Poplin, Bullet or Liverpool will give a brighter, more vibrant look.

Does the fabric require special handling in the wash?

All of our fabrics are machine wash and dry and require minimal special care. Our fabrics are lightfast, colorfast, and will not run, smudge, or fade with normal wear and care. For best results, we suggest using a mild detergent with a gentle cycle, medium heat in the dryer. The heat in the washer and dryer process will shrink the cotton fabric 2 – 5%

Can you print more than 10 yards?

Absolutely! Orders that are 5 yards or more of the same design may or may not be in one continuous piece. Every effort is made to print in one continuous piece.

Do you offer bulk pricing discounts?

Yes, we offer bulk pricing for 10% off 25+yards, 15% off 50+yards.

Do you take returns or exchanges?

Our customers are very important to us. All orders placed with us are custom printed, we carry no inventory. which means that we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We always inspect each order carefully before shipping. If you receive a flawed or damaged order, we will gladly work with you to make sure that you are happy with your purchase.
